To celebrate 100 years at Villa Bologna Pottery, we are excited to launch our limited edition Gozo Collection. The design has been in our archives for the past 74 years and was painted by a now, long-forgotten guest of the de Trafford family in the 1950s at Villa Bologna in Malta. This vibrant motif took inspiration from the hot summers spent at the Villa and the treasures of the Mediterranean Sea.
Our limited-edition green Gozo Fish small oval ceramic platter is the perfect chance to connect with our past and the artistry and craftsmanship that went into its creation. This piece features a playful fish motif in the centre framed by a wide, wavy edge. We love how the decorated frame is irregular in size and shape, creating a dynamic and organic feel. The combination of deep blue and white tones creates a timeless look that can be enjoyed all year round and we think looks wonderful paired with our other tableware collections. To be enjoyed with a seafood feast with family and friends.
